Spotify -> Apple Music
I recently made a change I've wanted to do for a long time, and that's switch from Spotify to a better platform for streaming music. Spotify has always had one major flaw:
- No lossless quality options.
Many other streaming platforms have offered higher quality audio for years. Then there's one more big problem, Spotify pays artists much less compared to the competition. I love music, and I want to support artists as much as possible while still being able to stream music, which is very convenient for a music lover like myself.
So, I made the switch. I ran into some problems at first with iTunes on Windows, it was a buggy and unresponsive mess. I found out they have an Apple Music app preview, which works much better!
The lossless quality is amazing, and knowing I'm able to support artists more and pay the same amount monthly is nice. The Apple Music app has a simple and clean interface, and for being a beta application it works really well on Windows.
Apple Music has a very large selection too, and most of the music I have on Spotify is available on Apple Music, you can also use third party sites like soundiiz.com to transfer playlists from Spotify to Apple Music, or any other streaming service to help make the move easier.
Overall, I'm very happy with Apple Music! <3
